Hostnine disabled my account last year after 3 months, without any valid reason, but they continue sending reminders about an invoice due. I get an email every Monday. Fortunately my credit card is no longer valid.
Who is going to pay for a service that is not being provided? Unhappy customers are not repeat customers, the money a webhosting company spends advertising is better spent retaining a customer.
Both my Hostnine accounts were disabled after a few months with the following message
We had to disable this account due to it crashing the server. The mail going in and out is way to much for a shared server. This need’s a dedicated server or to be moved off of hostnine’s servers.
And I have not sent a single mail using Hostnine’s servers , they seem to be a scam company, disabling accounts after a few months
I got this email

Toll-free phone support will only be available to customers that are paying us a minimum of $6.50 cents per month. If you are currently on a hosting plan that is paying less than this, you can upgrade now and be eligible to receive phone support once the program has officially launched.

You can upgrade your accounts simply by logging into Backstage, and requesting an upgrade
Tech support is not of much use, if you are not in USA
I have a lot of websites and am always looking for cheap and reliable web hosting. There are many webhosting companies, but few are inexpensive and allow unlimited addon domains. My sites do not take up server resources, so I cannot afford to pay more than $1-2 / year for hosting . All the reviews here are based on my personal experience.

Site5 had been offering cheap hosting for many months now , 50-165 websites, 1 IP address for $5 / month (if prepaid for 2 years). Now they have discontinued that package , but are offering unlimited website hosting for $5/month. No free IP address is provided, you have to pay $3 per month extra for the IP address and some other addons. They limit the maximum number of files you can have in account to 25000, unlike Westhost where the limit is 600,000
